As part of the initiative to establish one Telangana Public School in every Assembly constituency, the Collector visited the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) at Kakularam village in Gadwal Mandal on Wednesday to inspect the ongoing construction works.
He pointed out that the site has the required 5 acres of land as per norms and instructed officials to plan for the construction of a large dining hall, a spacious playground, and additional classrooms for Intermediate (Classes 11 and 12). The Collector also emphasized the establishment of modern facilities for the welfare of students, including a Science Lab, Physics Lab, Computer Lab with a capacity of 40–60 students, and a well-equipped Library.
During the review, he examined the progress of the already sanctioned 24 classrooms. Officials informed that additional funds are required to complete the remaining works. The Collector directed them to submit comprehensive proposals to the government for the necessary funds. Other key aspects discussed during the visit included the appointment of teachers, campus development works such as fencing, construction of a boundary wall, and internal roads.
