Global Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) inaugurated CRYPTIX – the Cyber Security Club, in a distinguished ceremony graced by K S Rao, Additional DCP, Rajendra Nagar Zone, Cyberabad Commissionerate. He unveiled the club logo and released the Ready Reckoner on Cyber Security.
Addressing the gathering, Rao emphasized the importance of staying cyber safe and keeping pace with emerging technologies. He also encouraged students to explore careers in the Police Force, particularly in cybercrime investigation and digital forensics, highlighting it as a challenging and rewarding path.
Sai Prasad, Inspector of Police, Cybercrimes, guest of honor delivered an engaging and informative session on the types of cybercrimes and effective preventive measures. Dr. K M Fasihuddin, Director, Global Professional Colleges, urged students to become ambassadors of cyber awareness. Dr. Ravindra Tiwari, Dean, GPC, and Dr. Raja Rao, Principal, GIET, Dr. Ahmed Zeeshan, Vice Principal elaborated on the importance of Cyber Security education in shaping responsible engineers.
