Metro India News | hyderabad

Minister for Panchayat Raj Seethakka stated that Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was disrespected in Parliament, and the Dalit Speaker faced humiliation in the Telangana Assembly.

During an informal conversation with members of the media in the Assembly lobbies, Seethakka inquired whether BRS Working President KT Rama Rao had secured the necessary funding for the Formula E race following the approval of the cabinet. She questioned the rationale behind discussions in the House regarding an issue that lacked government endorsement. The Minister noted that there was no need for Assembly discussions on a matter that had already been authorised by the Governor.

Seethakka further probed why BRS leaders had not sought a discussion on the Formula E race during the BAC meeting, expressing her concern that they were engaging in political maneuvering under false pretenses.

She posed the question, "Why does KTR fear facing legal consequences? If he is not guilty of any wrongdoing, he should confidently face the trial and emerge exonerated. KTR appears to be attempting to frame his personal issues as those of the Telangana State populace."

The Minister additionally remarked that the BRS Members are colluding to obstruct discussions regarding the Bhu Bharati Bill, which stands to benefit countless farmers.

"They are engaging in opportunistic politics due to the potential exposure of their land acquisition schemes. It is important to recognize that everyone is subject to the law. Individuals implicated in the Formula E-car race case will be required to stand trial," stated Seethakka.
