BRAOU to mark 45th foundation day

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) will celebrate its 45th Foundation Day on Friday, at the Dr. C. Narayana Reddy Auditorium, CSTD Building, on the university campus.

Dr. B. Shadrach, Director, Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA), New Delhi, will be the guest speaker and deliver the Foundation Day lecture on "BRAOU and the Promise of Democratised Education" at 11 am.

BRAOU Vice-Chancellor Prof Ghanta Chakrapani will be the chief guest, while Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director (Academic), will preside over the celebrations.

Registrar Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy, along with university officials and employees, will attend the programme.

The celebrations will highlight the BRAOU’s contribution to expanding access to higher education and promoting the concept of democratised education through the open and distance learning system.
