Dr. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy begins Dubai tenure

Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, IFS, who previously served on state deputation in both the K. Chandrashekar Rao and A. Revanth Reddy governments and also held the position of Regional Passport Officer, Secunderabad, has assumed charge as the new Consul General of India in Dubai. Marking his first official engagement after taking office, he met a high level delegation led by Sundeep Kumar Makthala, Chairman of the International Council for Innovators and Entrepreneurs (ICIE), Chairman of TConsult Global, and a UAE Golden Visa honoree.

The delegation included leading Dubai based industrialist Thota Ramkumar, S. V. Reddy, Vura Krishna and other representatives from the business and innovation ecosystem. Discussions focused on expanding India UAE collaboration in artificial intelligence, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, startups, digital transformation, innovation and investment promotion.

Makthala briefed the Consul General on ICIE's global initiatives that connect governments, industry, academia, investors and entrepreneurs. Congratulating Dr. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy on his new role, he expressed confidence that his leadership would further strengthen India UAE economic ties, promote innovation driven partnerships and facilitate greater investment, technology exchange and business opportunities between the two countries.
