Nizamabad Urban MLA seeks modernization of bus stand

Nizamabad Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana has urged the Telangana government to modernize the existing Nizamabad bus stand and improve passenger amenities until a new bus terminal is established. The MLA submitted a representation to State Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Tuesday. Pending the development of a new facility, Suryanarayana requested the government to upgrade the existing bus stand by enhancing its infrastructure and passenger services.

He called for the construction of a spacious waiting hall for commuters and the installation of digital display boards to provide real-time information on bus arrivals and departures. The MLA also sought the installation of CCTV cameras to strengthen security and urged the government to deploy adequate staff to ensure the efficient functioning of the bus station. In addition, Suryanarayana requested the creation of dedicated parking facilities for private vehicles and auto-rickshaws to ease congestion and improve traffic management around the bus stand.
