Drunk Driving Drive: 440 booked in Hyderabad

In a special drive on April 17 and 18, Hyderabad Traffic Police booked 440 motorists for drunk driving. Among them, 376 were two-wheeler riders, 21 three-wheeler drivers, and 43 car and other vehicle users.
Based on Blood Alcohol Content (BAC), 200 cases fell in the 51–100 range, followed by 91 in 30–50 and 79 in 101–150. Higher ranges included 31 (151–200), 18 (201–250), 12 (251–300), and 9 above 300.
Police reiterated a zero-tolerance policy and urged motorists to follow road safety norms.
