Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said that education alone is the most powerful weapon to eliminate deeply rooted social inequalities in society.
Speaking at the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Loyola Educational Institutions at Alwal in Medchal district on Saturday, Bhatti Vikramarka said the State government’s goal is to provide education that combines skills with human values and the deep human capital is the foundation for long-term development.
"Providing education enriched with skills as well as human values is the collective objective of the entire Cabinet under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. As part of this vision, works on the Skill University in Bharat Future City are progressing at a rapid pace. The State government is transforming 100 ITIs across Telangana into advanced technology centres, which will not only create employment opportunities for the youth but also contribute to the growth of the State’s GDP," Bhatti Vikramarka said.
With the objective of eradicating social inequalities, the Deputy Chief Minister said the government is constructing Young India Integrated Residential Schools, where students from all sections of society can study together with international standards. Each school is being built at a cost of ₹200 crore over an area of 25 acres with state-of-the-art facilities. He informed that approvals have been given for the construction of 100 such schools across the State and that the works are progressing swiftly.
He further stated that meaningful change in societal systems and institutions is possible only through education, a fact that has become even clearer through the CPEC (Social, Economic, Educational, Employment, Political and Caste) survey conducted by the State government. For long-term development and leadership, deep human capital is the essential foundation, he said, adding that a close study of leading nations clearly proves this.
Loyola Academy, he said, stands as proof that education driven by a clear purpose transcends campus walls and creates a lasting impact. The journey of Loyola over the years is no small achievement, especially in the field of education, which is particularly challenging. To continue without losing its soul despite changing generations, technologies, methods and expectations is not an ordinary success, the Deputy Chief Minister observed.
Government Advisor K. Keshava Rao, former MLA Jalgam Venkata Rao, Mainampally Hanumantha Rao and others were present at the programme.
