‘Epic’ should become a huge success’ –Rashmika Mandanna

The trailer of upcoming Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya starrer EPIC – FIRST SEMESTER  was released on Friday. The trailer launch event was attended by Rashmika Mandanna and ‘Irumudi’ director Shiva Nirvana as Chief Guests. Starring Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in the lead roles, Epic – First Semester is directed by debutant Aditya Hasan. The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film is scheduled to release on September 11.

Rashmika expressed her satisfaction with the trailer and praised Anand Deverakonda as a hard working actor. She also said that Vaishnavi will earn a lot of recognition with the film. Anand Deverakonda thanked his sister-in-law Rashmika for attending the event. He mentioned that Epic would be like a ‘beautiful story’ that would emerge if the films ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ and ‘Premalu’ are combined. Vaishnavi Chaitanya said that she had been doing films under the Sithara banner and said that she is very happy to do Epic under the same banner.

Actor Aditya Hasan said that there is a lot of emotional depth in the film and expressed his confidence that everyone will like it. Shiva Nirvana recalled that the previous movie in Anand and Vaishnavi’s combination ‘Baby’ was a huge success. He said that Epic will connect well with Gen Z audiences.
