The Telangana Government is set to unveil major advancements in the sports sector during the Telangana Rising Global Summit scheduled for December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City. As part of its vision to position Telangana as a premier sports innovation hub, the State will announce two landmark collaborations with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

In a historic first for India, Telangana will host the country’s first Women’s FIFA-AIFF Football Academy, which will also be only the second such academy in the world after Hong Kong. This initiative underscores the State’s commitment to empowering women in sports and creating a world-class pathway for young female footballers. Additionally, Telangana will establish the Men’s FIFA-AIFF Football Academy, making it the second men’s academy of its kind in India.
