Uppal Foundation, under the leadership of Uppal Srinivas Gupta, TPCC Chief Secretary and National Working President of the International Arya Vysya Federation (IVF) provided financial assistance to the marriage of three underprivileged girls at the Uppal Camp Office in Nagole. Uppal Srinivas Gupta along with IVF’s first woman representative Uppal Swapna, distributed traditional marriage gifts to the brides’ families. The assistance included silver toe rings (pooshte mattelu), sarees, bangles and other essentials.
The beneficiaries: For the marriage of Neeradi Yadarav and Anjavva’s daughter Satvika (from Sirasamundar village, Birkoor Mandal, Kamareddy district); for the marriage of Rapani Ellayya and Yadamma’s daughter Lalita (from Shamirpet in Medchal-Malkajgiri district); for the marriage of Edla Eshwar and. Edla Anuradha’s daughter Shivani(from old Makalpet). The girl’s father is suffering from paralysis and her mother sustains the family by working as a daily wage labourer.
Speaking on the occasion, Uppal Srinivas Gupta said that the Uppal Foundation is carrying out several service activities and as part of them, it is extending support for the marriages of poor girls by providing them with necessary items such as pooshte mattelu, sarees, and bangles.
