The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has issued a stern notice to Hyderabad C&D Waste Pvt. Ltd. (Ramky Agency) for its repeated failure to lift construction and demolition (C&D) waste across the city.

Despite multiple instructions from GHMC officials, including circle officers and sanitation heads, the agency has not resumed proper waste collection. Similar warnings were previously issued on June 25 and July 30, 2025.

GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan expressed serious concern over the agency’s continued inaction and directed immediate deployment of vehicles to clear all unclaimed waste. He warned that failure to comply would lead to strict action, including contract termination and heavy penalties under Clause 7.4 of the agreement.

The Commissioner reiterated GHMC’s commitment to maintaining urban cleanliness and emphasized that any further negligence in waste management would not be tolerated, urging swift action to prevent inconvenience to the public.
