Govt committed to create favorable conditions to produce green hydrogen: CM

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu said on Monday that the aim of the government is to create favorable conditions for the production of green hydrogen in the state. He released the “Green Hydrogen Valley Amaravati Declaration” on Monday at the CM's camp office in Undavalli in the presence of Chief Secretary K.Vijayanand and Non-conventional Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NEDCAP) MD Kamalakar Babu. The declaration has been prepared announcing the necessary action plan to transform the state into a green hydrogen valley by 2030.  

A 2-day summit on green hydrogen was recently held in Amaravati where CEOs, COOs, MDs and industry experts participated. The state government announced the declaration IS based on the issues discussed in the two-day summit. The declaration has been prepared to lay down the modalities for the production of clean fuels in India and the manufacture of green hydrogen. He said the purpose of the declaration was to set up the country's largest eco-system for green hydrogen production in the state.
