Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the Telangana Government has transformed 100 ITIs and is developing a skilled workforce. The aim of the Government is to woo industries to the city of Hyderabad and provide skilled personnel. He was speaking as the chief guest at the CFO Conclave organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here on Wednesday.
Bhatti Vikramarka described Hyderabad and Telangana as investment paradise. He pointed out that Telangana offers skilled labour at relatively lower costs than other states, along with a pleasant climate, pollution-free environment, and uninterrupted 24-hour quality power supply-all of which are attracting investors.
He further added that currently there is Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad—soon, a fourth zone, the Future City, will also be operational. He mentioned that global investors are showing interest in setting up industries in this upcoming city.
The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted that the success of the Outer Ring Road is evident, and under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Regional Ring Road is being developed as a prestigious infrastructure project. He explained that the construction of the Regional Ring Road will lead to the development of various industrial clusters including pharma, IT, housing, agriculture, and handlooms.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasised that Hyderabad is attracting investments from across the globe. Just like the Thames in London, the Telangana government is undertaking the Musi River Rejuvenation Project as a prestigious initiative to restore the river through Hyderabad city, he said.
The Deputy Chief Minister stressed that industrialists are key to the state’s development, employment generation, and wealth creation. He said the State government treats industrialists as part of its family and urged them to partner in ushering change in the state.
On the occasion, Bhatti Vikramarka also advised industrialists to utilise their CSR funds not just for schools and knowledge centers, but also for the progress of farmers and women. He encouraged CFOs to adopt modern technology not just for operational efficiency but for making stronger strategic decisions.
