Ajai Chowdhary emphasized the critical role of VLSI technology in shaping the future of electronics and computing and in shaping the country's digital landscape

IcfaiTech, Hyderabad inaugurated its Center for VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) recently.  It was inaugurated by Padma Bhushan Ajai Chowdhary, a technocrat and one of the founding members of HCL and Chairman EPIC Foundation. During his inaugural address, Ajai Chowdhary emphasized the critical role of VLSI technology in shaping the future of electronics and computing and in shaping the country's digital landscape.

He applauded initiatives like "Make in India," which have laid the foundation for building indigenous products. The Center for VLSI aligns with MeitY’s (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) strategic initiatives, such as the ChipIN Centre and C2S, which aim to bolster India’s semiconductor ecosystem.

Prof. L.S. Ganesh, Vice Chancellor of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Prof. ORS Rao, Chancellor of ICFAI University Sikkim, spoke on this occasion and conveyed a special message highlighting the importance of such initiatives.
