MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy launched the YSR Health Kit at the District Government Hospital, aiming to safeguard the health of mothers and newborns in Mahabubnagar. Funded entirely by Reddy, the health kits were distributed free of charge to local women.

Speaking on Children’s Day, Reddy emphasized, ‘Protecting newborn health is a collective responsibility. The first 30 days are vital for a baby’s development, and this program will raise awareness about its importance.’ The kit, available to mothers delivering at the government hospital for the next three years, includes essential items like baby soap, lotion, oil, powder, clothes, and a mosquito net, ensuring quality care for newborns in the constituency.
