The KPHB Crime Team successfully traced and returned a missing Lenovo laptop valued at Rs 80,000, bringing relief to the owner and his family. The incident occurred when an employee, commuting on his motorcycle, accidentally dropped his bag containing the laptop. An auto driver passing by picked up the bag and left the spot.

The employee immediately reported the loss at KPHB Police Station. Acting swiftly, the Crime Team used a combination of human intelligence and technical tools to track the auto’s movement. Their persistent efforts led to identifying the driver, recovering the laptop, and returning it safely to the owner.
