The Osmania University Police and Task Force East Zone have solved a brutal murder case in just two days, arresting three accused involved in the killing of 58-year-old Magu Singh at Tarnaka on December 1.
Investigations revealed that main accused Shaik Ghouse, a fish trader, suspected the victim of performing black magic and spreading rumours about his family. With the help of his son-in-law Syed Shoaib and associate Md Ilyas, he allegedly lured the victim to Chilkalguda, attacked him with an iron rod, and later slit his throat inside a car before dumping the body at Yerrakunta Katta.
Police recovered the car, two bikes, murder weapons, phones and clothes worn during the crime. Ghouse was previously involved in two criminal cases. Police urged the public not to fall prey to black magic practices and to report such activities.
