As part of the week-long protest against the 1,000 days of Congress’ failed governance, a massive protest was held today in Gadwal district headquarters. The BRS leaders distributed “due cards” to the public, representing the promises allegedly pending from the Congress government. BRS Gadwal constituency In-charge Basu Hanumanthu Naidu strongly criticised the Congress government, alleging that during its 1,000 days (33 months) in power, it had failed to fulfil even a single promise made to the people before the elections.

He alleged that the government had failed to fulfil its major electoral commitments and that people from all sections of society were suffering due to what he described as the Congress government’s false promises. The BRS leaders warned that they would continue to question the government until it fulfils the six guarantees promised by the Congress to the people, along with the 420 promises mentioned in its election manifesto.
