The free weddings organized by TTD at spacious Kalyana Vedika at Tirumala are receiving a great response from newlyweds. TTD has been organizing free wedding services for  deserving and poor Hindu families at the Kalyana vedika on Tirumala located on Papavinasanam Road since April 25, 2016.

So far, as many a record 26,214 weddings performed at the Kalyana vedika in Tirumala from April 25, 2016 to May 1, 2025. As part of the services TTD provides the archakas, mangalavadyams, turmeric, saffron and Kankanam free of cost to the couple during the wedding. The bride and groom will have to bring a few other wedding accessories. The parents of the bride and groom must be present for the wedding. In case they are unable to attend the wedding, they should submit supporting documents.

After the wedding, a total of six people, including the groom, bride and their parents, will be allowed to have free darshan of Srivaru through the queue line at the ATC through  the special entry of Rs 300/- gates. After the darshan, six people would collect six laddus free of cost at the laddu counters. TTD has provided the facility to the newlyweds to book a wedding slot online for free weddings at the wedding venue in Tirumala from May 9, 2016.
