Based on credible information, the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team, Hyderabad City, in coordination with Police from Humayunnagar, Narsingi, Kolluru, and Shamshabad PSs, has successfully apprehended auto mobile theft offenders and receivers, seizing a total of 3 Dio vehicles, 1 auto rickshaw, 1 Activa, and another auto rickshaw used in the commission of crimes within Hyderabad and Cyberabad limits.

The accused, Mohammad Naveed and Sami—childhood friends—used an auto rickshaw (TS 34 TA 6418, Bajaj) to commit motorcycle thefts. They spotted a Honda Dio (KL 11 AR 5675) in Narsingi PS limits, stole it, and sold it to Ibaad-Ur-Rahman for Rs.10,000. Subsequently, Ibaad sold the vehicle to Mohammed Basith Ali for the same price. Following credible information, Naveed was apprehended, leading to the arrest of Ibaad-Ur-Rahman, who then led police to the stolen vehicle recovered from Basith Ali.
