OU Foundation Day held, Stanley College students win two prizes

Hyderabad: The 109th Foundation Day celebrations of Osmania University were held grandly on Sunday at Tagore Auditorium. The program was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kumar Molugaram. The Chief Guest was Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka, Judge, High Court of Telangana. Distinguished Guests included Dr. K. Keshava Rao, Advisor to Government of Telangana (Public Affairs), Vem Narender Reddy, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) & Advisor to Chief Minister of Telangana (Public Affairs) and Keynote Speaker Mohan Guruswamy, Eminent Economist and Public Policy Analyst.

In the OU intercollegiate cultural competitions, students of Stanley College of Engineering & Technology for Women, Abids secured two prizes. D. Manaswini & Team won the Second Prize in Group Dance (Tribal) category, while S.S. Neha & Team secured the Third Prize in Group Dance (Patriotic) category. VC Prof. Kumar Molugaram presented Merit Certificates and Mementoes to the winners. As part of the Foundation Day celebrations, the prize-winning teams performed their award-winning dances on stage and enthralled the audience.
