Renowned Avadhani and scholar Madugula Nagaphani Sharma met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat after being conferred with the Padma Shri Award. During the meeting, Sharma offered his blessings to the Chief Minister, praising his visionary leadership and contributions to the state’s progress.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagaphani Sharma expressed confidence that under Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, Andhra Pradesh would prosper and witness unprecedented development. He lauded the state government's initiatives, stating that all the programs undertaken for the welfare of the people would yield positive results.

Nagaphani Sharma extended his blessings for the successful completion of Amaravati as a world-class capital city. He also expressed optimism that major projects, including Polavaram, would be completed soon, benefiting millions of people across the state.

Recognizing Sharma’s remarkable contribution to literature and Avadhanam, CM Chandrababu Naidu felicitated him with a shawl and congratulated him on receiving the Padma Shri honor. The Chief Minister invited him to Amaravati to mark the occasion. During the meeting, Sharma hailed Chandrababu Naidu as one of the most forward-thinking leaders in the country, emphasizing that his vision had played a crucial role in promoting Telugu culture and heritage.

He particularly credited Naidu for transforming Hyderabad into India’s IT hub, highlighting how the Chief Minister had foreseen the city’s future as a global technology powerhouse nearly three decades ago.“Thirty years ago, Chandrababu Naidu envisioned the transformation of Hitech city—a region once filled with rocks and barren land—into a thriving IT corridor. His foresight has illuminated the lives of lakhs of professionals today,” Sharma remarked.

Nagaphani Sharma also praised Naidu’s commitment to preserving Telugu culture amidst the state’s technological advancements. He noted that, despite the rise of global IT giants in Hyderabad, Naidu had ensured the promotion of Telugu literature and traditions by granting land for the establishment of the Avadhana Saraswati Peetham in the IT corridor.

“Amid towering IT companies, our Telugu heritage should flourish. Avadhanam must thrive, and our language, customs, and traditions should be celebrated. It was Chandrababu Naidu’s vision that led to the establishment of Avadhana Saraswati Peetham in Hyderabad,” Sharma stated.

Expressing gratitude for the recognition he received, Nagaphani Sharma reaffirmed his commitment to preserving and propagating Telugu culture, crediting Chandrababu Naidu’s unwavering support for literary and cultural initiatives.
