SCSC turns 20, two decades of police–industry–community collaboration

The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) celebrated its 20th Anniversary at AVASA Hotel, HITEC City, marking two decades of successful partnership between the Cyberabad Police, industry and the community. The event, themed “Celebrating Two Decades of Trustworthy Partnership, Security & Growth,” brought together senior police officials, government representatives, industry leaders, security experts, healthcare professionals, media and community stakeholders.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh appreciated SCSC for its continued support to the police and for strengthening public–private partnership over the past two decades. Dr. Krishna Yedula, Former Secretary General, SCSC, recalled the early days of the organisation and the development of the Cyberabad IT corridor. He said that the idea of SCSC emerged from discussions between the police and industry on the need for a safe and secure environment for the growing technology sector.

The anniversary program featured four panel discussions focusing on key issues concerning safety, cyber security, road safety and community health- ‘What does it mean to feel safe?’, ‘Who is safe in a digital world?’, ‘can we change the way we move?’ and ‘Building healthier communities through collective action’SCSC turns 20, two decades of police–industry–community collaboration
