Shastripuram ROB ready for inauguration

GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, along with the chief engineer and zonal commissioner, inspected key infrastructure works, including Shastripuram ROB and Nalgonda flyover in Hyderabad on Wednesday. He stated that the Shastripuram ROB is completed and ready for inauguration. The Commissioner said that directions were issued to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance.

Karnan said that at Nalgonda flyover, works are progressing at a brisk pace with major components nearing completion and deck slab concreting and girder erection for up & down ramps are underway. Officials were directed to mobilise resources and expedite works for completion by June. With continuous monitoring through field visits and weekly reviews, the works are going on at brisk pace, he said. The GHMC chief said that once the proposed works are completed, it will ease traffic congestion and ensure smoother, safer commutes for citizens.
