TEDxGITAM Hyderabad, an independently organised TED event hosted by GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, brought together around 100 participants on September 4 under the theme “Resilience & Growth.” The event featured diverse voices and perspectives on navigating challenges, embracing change and achieving meaningful personal and professional growth.

Air Marshal Nanesyeshwar Tiwari emphasised the power of a strong and disciplined mind, encouraging participants to step beyond their comfort zones and embrace the unfamiliar.  He also underlined the importance of health and happiness as essential components of a fulfilling life. Filmmaker B. V. Nandini Reddy shared her journey from her college days to becoming a successful film director, reflecting on the hurdles, failures and uncertainties she encountered along the way. She urged young people to learn from failure, remain open to confusion and take away only what is useful from the advice of others.

MihikaBhanot spoke about resilience, empathy and the courage to act despite fear. She encouraged participants to begin rather than wait for the perfect moment, take ownership of their choices and never give up. In keeping with TED’s mission of “ideas worth spreading,”TEDxGITAM Hyderabad created a platform for meaningful dialogue and fresh perspectives, inspiring participants to embrace challenges, learn from experience and pursue continuous growth.
