The annual Sri Sri Parvati Jadala Ramalingeswara Swamy Brahmotsavams at Cheruvugattu, which began on January 23, is being held under elaborate security arrangements to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees.

Nearly 1,000 police personnel have been deployed for bandobust across the temple and festival areas. The entire venue is under round-the-clock CCTV surveillance linked to a Command Control Room. Special surveillance teams, She-Teams, plainclothes officers, and Face Recognition Technology are actively monitoring the crowd to prevent thefts, chain snatching, eve-teasing, and other untoward incidents.

To manage traffic and avoid congestion, authorities have set up dedicated parking areas, barricades, queue lines, guidance boards, and special traffic diversions. Separate arrangements have been made for women, senior citizens, and children to ensure their safety and convenience.

District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, along with District Collector Chandrashekar, reviewed the security and logistics arrangements with officials from all departments. They appealed to devotees to cooperate with the authorities, follow instructions, and maintain decorum to ensure a peaceful and incident-free festival.

The authorities emphasized that these measures are part of a proactive plan to make the week-long festivities, running until January 30, safe, smooth, and enjoyable for everyone attending.
