‘Tiranga Rally’ held by IIMC College students

As part of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign, the NSS Units and NCC of the Indian Institute of Management and Commerce (IIMC) Degree & PG College (Autonomous) organized a ‘Tiranga Rally’ on Thursday. Over 1000 students walked for more than 1.5 kilometers from the college via the Secretariat, Khairatabad Bade Ganesh, and Vasavi Kendra, carrying national flags in their hands and raising patriotic slogans.

College Principal Kura Raghuveer said that hoisting the national flag on every house will further strengthen national unity, national spirit, and patriotism. As part of Independence Day celebrations, for the past three days the college has been organizing elocution, essay writing, patriotic song competitions, and quiz programs to create awareness among students about Independence Day and national unity.

NSS Program Officer E. Ramakrishna said that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign not only promotes respect for the national flag but also increases a sense of responsibility towards the country in every citizen. He appealed to every student to hoist the national flag on their house, take a selfie, and upload it on the My Bharat Portal.
