Two arrested for bike thefts in Medchal

Medchal police have arrested two suspects involved in multiple two-wheeler thefts across the Cyberabad Commissionerate area. During questioning, the suspects admitted to stealing a total of 18 bikes, including 15 cases in Medchal, 2 in Dundigal, and 1 in Pet-Bashirabad. The investigation is continuing to trace the other two accomplices who are still at large.

From the arrested suspects, police recovered vehicles worth around Rs 50 lakh. The seized items included 12 Royal Enfield bikes, 5 Pulsers, an FZ bike, a silver container, a wire cutter, a mask, and three mobile phones. Police said these items are linked to the reported thefts, and further action will follow as the investigation progresses.

Authorities have urged residents to park their vehicles in secure locations and remain vigilant. They also requested the public to immediately report any suspicious individuals or activities to the police. The Medchal police team, including SHO Satyanarayana, DI Kiran Kumar, and SI Naveen, were commended for their prompt and effective action in cracking this case, ensuring safety in the area.
