Yashoda Hospitals launches Centre for Excellence in plastic surgery

Yashoda Hospitals, Somajiguda, has launched a Centre for Excellence in Plastic Surgery at its Somajiguda branch in Hyderabad, said renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Shashikanth Maddu during a press conference held in Karimnagar on Thursday.Dr. Shashikanth Maddu said plastic surgery is not merely about enhancing physical appearance, but also plays an important role in restoring organ function, self-confidence and overall quality of life.He explained that the newly launched centre aims to provide safe and natural-looking results through advanced procedures such as rhinoplasty and liposuction.

The centre will also focus on long-term reconstructive care for children suffering from congenital deformities, burn injuries and other traumatic conditions. According to Dr. Maddu, the centre combines cosmetic enhancement with functional correction, particularly in cases where patients experience breathing difficulties. Advanced technologies, including 3D imaging, photography-based simulation and detailed surgical planning, will be used to achieve precise, natural and patient-specific outcomes.
