Amity University Hyderabad welcomes new batch

Amity University Hyderabad formally welcomed its newest batch of students as the Dheeksharambh Student Orientation Programme 2026 commenced on September 2. The two-day program, being held on September 2 and 3, marks the beginning of the new academic year and brings together students and parents from the Schools of Engineering, Management, Law and Architecture.

A key highlight of the first day was the inauguration of two state-of-the-art Centres of Excellence— the Zscaler Cyber Academy for Students and the Information Data Systems (IDS) Centre of Excellence on Blockchain.

Welcoming the incoming batch, Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan and Chancellor Dr. Atul Chauhan extended their blessings to the students and outlined the University’s broader academic vision. Prof. S. V. Kota Reddy, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Hyderabad, spoke about the academic journey ahead, emphasising the importance of an engaging campus experience, community participation and overall student development.
