Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu held a comprehensive review of the state’s Finance Department on Thursday, with a strong focus on optimizing resource allocation for welfare schemes and development projects. The review meeting, held at the CM’s camp office, was attended by Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav and senior department officials.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the current financial health of the state, including revenue inflows, expenditure patterns, and fund disbursement for key welfare and development initiatives, especially regarding monthly expenditure on welfare schemes, including pensions, and the projected financial requirements for implementing various programs in the coming months.

Highlighting the need for sustained development, CM Chandrababu emphasized the importance of capital expenditure over mere routine spending. He instructed officials to increase investment in infrastructure and other capital-intensive projects that generate long-term economic returns and create employment.
