Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday interacted with agricultural labourers on the outskirts of Rayannapeta village in Bonakal mandal of Khammam district and enquired about the welfare schemes being implemented by the State government.

During his whirlwind tour of the constituency, Bhatti Vikramarka set aside official protocol and personally walked into the agricultural fields to meet women labourers engaged in farm work.

The women expressed delight at the Deputy Chief Minister’s interaction with them and shared their experiences of the changes brought about in their lives by the welfare measures of the Congress government.

The agricultural labourers said the welfare schemes being implemented by the Indiramma People’s Government were providing them much-needed support and bringing positive changes to their lives.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhatti Vikramarka said the Finance department was regularly releasing the required funds to the concerned departments to ensure the effective implementation of welfare schemes being provided to the people.

He said identifying the needs of the people, addressing them and bringing meaningful change to their lives were the fundamental responsibilities of the People’s Government.
