In order to counter the false propaganda being spread by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy against Telangana’s first Chief Minister KCR—claiming that water should be drawn from the Jurala Project to the Palamuru–Rangareddy Project—and to oppose the Congress party’s announcements that they would implement the Palamuru–Rangareddy lift irrigation scheme near Jurala despite the lack of water availability there, the united Palamuru BRS leaders visited the Jurala Project to inform the Congress government that drawing water from Jurala for the Palamuru–Rangareddy Project is not feasible.
