Referring to the success of Tandur red gram, which has gained recognition beyond the region, he said farmers could achieve significant progress through innovation and diversification. He called upon them to adopt changing agricultural technologies and make informed decisions about crop cultivation.

Revanth Reddy criticizes previous BRS govt

The Chief Minister criticized the previous BRS government, alleging that several irrigation projects in the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district remained incomplete during its ten-year tenure. He recalled that projects such as Kalwakurthy, Bhima, Nettampadu, Koilsagar and Makthal-Narayanpet-Kodangal Lift Irrigation Scheme had not been completed as anticipated.  Revanth Reddy urged Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar to allow a two-day discussion on El Nino, Kaleshwaram and Godavari waters in December, saying he was prepared to present the government's position and respond to opposition allegations

Highlighting the government's industrial development plans, Revanth Reddy said Kodangal would be transformed into an education and industrial hub rather than allowing industrial growth to remain concentrated around Hyderabad. The proposed RARE (Rural Agriculture Regional Economy) Industrial Hub is being developed across 943.34 acres with the objective of attracting investments from different industrial sectors and generating employment for local youth.

According to the project details presented at the event, land measuring approximately 96 acres has already been allocated to two industrial companies.  Birla Nu Limited is proposing a fibre cement board manufacturing facility, while EcoPalm Oil and Fats Private Limited plans to establish vegetable oil-related and agricultural research and development facilities. The two companies have proposed combined investments of Rs. 252.86 crore, with the potential to generate approximately 535 employment opportunities.
