Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao on Wednesday assured the public that the BJP aims to establish a government free of corruption and meet their expectations once in power.
He encouraged citizens to allow the BJP the opportunity to deliver a transparent administration, highlighting their experiences with the previous corrupt BRS government and the current ineffective Congress government, which has not honored its electoral promises.
Speaking at a gathering of polling booth presidents, secretaries, and district party workers in Karimnagar, the state BJP leader emphasised his party's commitment to serving the community and promoting the welfare of the citizens. In contrast, he criticised the opposition parties, BRS and Congress, for being involved in corruption and misleading the people.
Ramchander Rao expressed his joy over the significant turnout of party members at the meeting, noting that this reflects the growing strength of the BJP. He voiced optimism that the party would secure victories in all MPTC, ZPTC seats, and local ward member positions in the upcoming elections.
He criticised the Congress government for its inability to hold local body elections, suggesting that this apprehension stems from their fear of electoral defeat, as the public has become aware of their past errors and is now turning to the BJP for a change. Rao lamented that the Revanth Reddy administration has requested the court for an additional two months to organise local body elections. He also commended the contributions of senior party leader and Union Minister Bandi Sanjay towards the development of the Karimnagar district.
"We have established a new status for the Telangana region to uphold our dignity and serve the people's interests," he stated, claiming that only one family, that of former Chief Minister KCR, has benefited and has misappropriated government funds. He also noted that the corruption within the BRS party has been revealed by their own MLC, K Kavitha.
The Telangana BJP chief accused both the BRS and Congress parties of deceiving the public. He asserted that while BRS leaders are engaged in corrupt practices, the Congress party has failed to fulfill its six commitments and 420 promises. Criticising Revanth Reddy's regular trips to Delhi, he suggested that the Chief Minister should be focusing on state administration instead of frequently traveling between Hyderabad and Delhi.
The BJP state president urged party members to visit every village to inform the public about the development and welfare initiatives of the Modi government, while also highlighting the ineffective functioning of the state Congress government and the corruption within the BRS party.
