The much-awaited glimpse of Mahakali, featuring Akshaye Khanna as Shukracharya and Sriya Reddy as Maa Kali, was released on Monday. The film is directed by Puja Aparna Kolluru. Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn on Monday announced that the third Drishyam film is now retitled as Drishyam: The Conclusion and it will release on October 2.

The movie, a Hindi adaptation of Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam drama of the same name, features Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar, a common man who goes to extreme length to protect his family after an accidental death.

The third part of the Malayalam version released in May and is already a major success. Devgn unveiled the poster of the movie on his social media accounts with the caption, “Har insaan ka nazariya alag hota hai… mere liye meri family hi sab kuch hai. (Everyone has a different perspective... for me, my family is everything.) #DrishyamTheConclusion in cinemas 2nd October.” The Hindi version is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also directed the previous part.

Tabu, Rajat Kapoor and Shriya Saran reprise their roles while Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat are the new cast members. The thriller has been officially remade in seven languages, including Tamil and Telugu.
