Andhra Pradesh Tourism bagged the 'Most Promising New Destination' award for Gandikota at BLTM 2025, held at Yashobhoomi, India International Convention Centre (IICC), New Delhi, from September 11–13.

The award, part of the 'Responsible Tourism Awards' supported by ICRT and the Ministry of Tourism, was received by Padmarani Seela, Chief Marketing & Communication Officer, APTA.

Popularly known as ‘India’s Grand Canyon,’ Gandikota was recognized for its growing appeal among adventure and eco-tourism enthusiasts. Andhra Pradesh Tourism showcased its wide offerings—heritage sites, beach getaways, rural and eco-tourism experiences—drawing strong interest at the exhibition.

AP Tourism also engaged in B2B speed networking sessions with corporate buyers, MICE planners, tour operators, hospitality brands, and international boards from Sri Lanka, Israel, and St. Petersburg.

The state aims to position itself as a MICE tourism hub, with plans to develop world-class facilities in Visakhapatnam, Gandikota, and Suryalanka Beach, attracting corporate events, conferences, and incentive travel.

This recognition is expected to significantly boost Gandikota's visibility on both domestic and international tourism maps.
