Vedic Maths Founder gets prestigious award
Virginia, Washington DC: The much-awaited Global Munnurukapu Association (GMA) Mahasabha is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Virginia, USA, bringing together Munnurukapu families from across the globe onto a single platform. The grand two-day convention has attracted several distinguished guests, including film personalities, political leaders, and community celebrities from the Telugu states. The celebrations featured a vibrant mix of cultural programs, which left the audience enthralled. Special attractions such as the Beauty Pageant, Muggula Competitions, Music Contests, and a Magic Show for children added color to the event. A special souvenir highlighting the association’s initiatives and community contributions was unveiled by the dignitaries.
On this occasion, eminent educationist and technologist Gayathri Rajinikanth, the founder of Vedic Maths, was given the Outstanding Community service award. She completed her graduation from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Vedic Maths was founded in 2010 for Indian students in the United States has gained a lot of recognition in about 15 years. Vedic Maths is popular for its excellent solutions to complex mathematical problems. Pre-All has provided special courses to many students regarding competitive exams in Zebra, Geometry, Trigonometry as well as Mathematics. Gayathri Rajnikanth has been honoured by the Global Munnur Kaup Association for her service to over 2600 students as an educationist.
The organizers extended heartfelt appreciation to the donors and volunteers for their continuous support in successfully leading GMA’s mission globally. In recognition of their dedicated service, volunteers were felicitated, and distinguished guests were honored with warm gratitude. A major highlight of the convention was the 2026 Executive Committee Oath Ceremony, where the newly elected team pledged to work for the progress and unity of the community. Speaking on the occasion, Rajanikant Sangani, Founding Member of GMA and Convener of the Mahasabha, expressed deep gratitude to all members for their overwhelming participation. He emphasized that the primary goal of GMA is to unite Munnurukapu families across the world, preserve cultural traditions, and foster a spirit of cooperation and collective growth.
Venkat Peddi, Founding Member and President of GMA, extended special thanks to the dignitaries from the Telugu states who attended the Mahasabha and supported the mission. The cultural performances, particularly the soulful renditions of Telangana folk songs by renowned artists, captivated the audience and brought a festive spirit to the occasion.
