In a move to strengthen public safety, DCP G. Chandra Mohan inaugurated a network of 12 CCTV cameras at Bhagat Singh Yuvasena Street No. 1, Kargil Nagar, Jiyaguda, on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day. The initiative aims to enhance surveillance and ensure timely detection of criminal activity in the area.

Addressing the gathering, DCP Chandra Mohan highlighted that protecting every citizen reflects the true spirit of the Constitution. He described the CCTV installation as a proactive step toward creating a safer environment and fostering trust between the police and the community.

The SHO of Kulsumpura Police Station explained that the cameras would be integrated into the local monitoring system, assisting in efficient patrolling and rapid crime response. He emphasized that constant surveillance acts as a deterrent to anti-social behavior and helps maintain law and order.

Residents were urged to remain vigilant and cooperate with the police by reporting any suspicious activities promptly.
