The Hyderabad City Police organized vibrant Bathukamma celebrations at the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) in Banjara Hills. Around 600 women officers and staff from Home Guards to Deputy Commissioners of Police actively took part in the festivities.
The event saw women beautifully arranging traditional Bathukammas using a variety of flowers, and celebrating through singing and dancing to folk songs that reflect the rich culture and traditions of Telangana.
C V Anand, Director General and Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He formally inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
In his address, he highlighted the comprehensive security arrangements made across Hyderabad for the Bathukamma and Dussehra Navaratri festivals, and extended warm festive greetings to all the employees.
