The Fit India movement took a significant stride towards a healthier and greener India with the launch of the ‘Fit India Cycling Drive,’ simultaneously organized at 1000 various locations this morning across India.

As a part of this event, Para-Olympic Bronze Medalist Kumari Jeevanji Deepthi flagged off the 'Fit India Cycling Tuesdays' held at the Hockey Complex, Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad today. Close to 90 cycling enthusiasts joined in for the 3-km ride aimed to promote cycling as a sustainable and healthy mode of transportation.

The event saw the presence of nearly 125 participants, including athletes, youth, and well as citizens. The campaign resonates with the Prime Minister's message of “Fitness ki dose, aadha ghanta roz.” The event was conducted as a nationwide initiative under the umbrella of the Fit India Movement. The campaign aims to encourage people to adopt cycling as a regular fitness activity, promoting a healthier lifestyle while addressing environmental concerns such as pollution.
