Medicover hosts cardiology training event

Medicover Hospitals successfully hosted “Fellows India 2026”, a three-day advanced academic program in interventional cardiology, from 9th to 11th January 2026 at the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre. The program brought together leading national and international faculty and provided cardiology fellows and young consultants with advanced clinical knowledge, practical insights, and exposure to evolving technologies in cardiac care.

The conference was structured with a day-wise scientific focus, ensuring progressive and in-depth learning through evidence-based discussions, expert-led sessions, and real-world clinical insights.

Day 1 focused on core and advanced coronary interventions, covering complex angioplasty techniques, lesion assessment and real-world case discussions aimed at strengthening clinical decision-making skills.

Day 2 emphasized structural heart disease and complex interventions, with sessions on contemporary approaches  and interactive case-based learning led by experienced operators.

Day 3 was dedicated to advanced technologies, innovation, and future-ready cardiology, featuring discussions on emerging devices. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. N. Prathap Kumar, Organizing Chairman stated that the event's objective was to bridge the gap between academic theory and high-level clinical expertise.
