Minister for IT and Industries, D. Sridhar Babu has extended an invitation to Gulf-based entrepreneurs and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to partner in the State’s growth story, ‘Rising Telangana’.

Participating in the South Indian Business Achievers Awards (SIBA), held as part of the South Indian International Weekend – Dubai 2025, the Minister highlighted Telangana’s rapid economic strides and its emergence as a national leader in industrial development.

Telangana, despite ranking 11th in geographical size and 12th in population, contributes more than 5 percent to the national GDP. In FY 2024–25, the State achieved a Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) growth rate of 8.2 percent, surpassing the national average. Over the past 18 months, Telangana has attracted investments worth Rs. 3.28 lakh crore across sectors such as life sciences, electric vehicles, aerospace, logistics, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy, he said.

Sridhar Babu said the global corporations, including Eli Lilly and other multinational firms, have chosen Telangana as their investment destination and UAE investors alone have committed more than Rs. 2,000 crore, reflecting the strengthening trade and investment ties between Telangana and Dubai.

The Minister underlined that the State views investors not just as business partners but as stakeholders in its development journey. Telangana is offering opportunities in artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, cybersecurity, fintech, digital economy, smart mobility, clean energy, life sciences, logistics, warehousing, trade infrastructure, food processing, EVs, aerospace, and defence manufacturing, he said.

The Minister assured that the State government would extend all necessary support to facilitate investments and called on global entrepreneurs to collaborate with Telangana in shaping its industrial and innovation-driven future.
