Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, called on Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil in the national capital, where the two leaders engaged in an interesting discussion on political strategy and public connect.

Lokesh lauded Patil for securing resounding victories in successive elections from the Navsari parliamentary constituency in Gujarat. From his debut in 2009 to his fourth consecutive win in 2024, Patil’s winning margin has only grown larger, leaving an indelible mark on the electorate. Lokesh expressed admiration for the rare feat and inquired about the “secret behind such massive victories.”

During the interaction, Lokesh also briefed the Union Minister on the development and welfare programmes being carried out in Andhra Pradesh under the coalition government over the past 15 months. He underlined that the focus remains on inclusive growth and people-centric governance, drawing a parallel with Patil’s own model of leadership.

Patil, who has been representing Navsari in the Lok Sabha since 2009, has steadily risen to become one of the most successful parliamentarians in the country. In his debut election, he won by a margin of 1,32,643 votes.
