Roads & Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, along with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, is actively monitoring the construction progress of the New Osmania Hospital at Goshamahal, emphasizing timely completion and seamless execution. The Minister directed Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj to conduct a detailed field inspection and oversee all ongoing works.

During the site visit on Monday, Vikas Raj held discussions with officials from all relevant departments to review progress and resolve pending issues. GHMC officials reported that 56 structures identified within the project land are scheduled for clearance by the end of February, ensuring uninterrupted construction activities.

A key pending matter relates to the change of land use for portions previously under the Police Department and later transferred to the Director of Medical Education (DME). The issuance of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the MA&UD Department is awaited to formalize this transfer. Project consultants assured that the complete schedule of drawings would be submitted by January 10, 2026, and confirmed that construction execution would strictly adhere to approved timelines.
