The annual Natya Thoranam festival, organized by the Amrita Cultural Trust, mesmerized the Hyderabad audience on Sunday night with a spectacular showcase of five classical dance forms and a vibrant jugalbandi.
Held at Shilpakala Vedika, the two-and-a-half-hour performance featured Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Mohiniyattam, Odissi, and the enthralling jugalbandi, bringing together over 40 talented dancers. The auditorium echoed with continuous applause, celebrating their artistry and dedication.
‘Natya Thoranam is not just dance; it reflects five years of dedication, growth, and collective success,’ said Rajesh Pagadala, Managing Trustee. ‘Our vision was to honour classical traditions, unite diverse art forms, and provide young dancers a worthy stage — and we have achieved it.’
