Sri Rudreshwara Swamy Thousand Pillar Temple in Hanamkonda is set to host the Devi Sharannavratri celebrations with great splendor from September 22 to October 2, 2025.
Warangal MP Dr. Kadiyam Kavya has sought permission from the Archaeological Department to install the idol of Goddess Durga under the sacred Maredu (Bilva) tree within the temple premises for the convenience of devotees.
Every year, lakhs of devotees visit the Thousand Pillar Temple to seek the blessings of the Goddess. To ensure a hassle-free experience for the devotees, MP Dr. Kadiyam Kavya has requested the authorities to allow the installation of the deity’s idol within the temple premises and to extend darshan timings until 9 pm.
Responding positively to the MP’s request, the Archaeological Department has granted the necessary permissions well in advance this year.
With these arrangements, devotees will be able to participate in the darshan and puja ceremonies comfortably, ensuring a spiritually fulfilling experience during the Navratri festivities.
