In a fresh push towards urban beautification, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has approved a proposal by Sattva Group M/s Eden Buildcon Limited for the development and maintenance of three key traffic junctions in the fast-growing Neopolis region of Kokapet.

The project, to be undertaken under Sattva’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, involves the construction, beautification, and upkeep of a rotary at Neopolis SEZ Main and two triangular junctions at Neopolis and Mokila Road. These junctions, which were initially developed by HMDA with CRS masonry structures and landscaping by the Urban Forestry Wing, will now receive an artistic and cultural facelift.

The proposed upgrades will incorporate sculptures and aesthetic elements inspired by local heritage, aimed at enhancing the visual appeal and cultural atmosphere of the city. Sattva Group has committed to maintaining these junctions for a period of five years, entirely under CSR funding, ensuring there is no financial burden on HMDA for their upkeep.

“This public-private partnership sets a positive precedent for city development without straining public funds,” said officials from HMDA.

The Neopolis area has rapidly transformed into a hotbed of real estate growth, attracting top-tier developers and witnessing the rise of modern high-rises and commercial hubs. With strategic junction enhancements, officials believe the urban experience for residents, businesses, and visitors will significantly improve.

This initiative aligns with HMDA’s long-term vision of creating a cleaner, greener, and more vibrant Hyderabad. It also underlines the growing role of private entities in shaping the city’s infrastructure and cultural identity.

Signed and approved by the HMDA Metropolitan Commissioner, this move is expected to further boost public-private collaboration in urban development while supporting Hyderabad’s image as a global urban centre.
