The Cyberabad traffic police conducted a special drunk driving check on Saturday night and booked cases against 340 offenders who were caught. Among those caught are 288 two wheeler riders, 13 three wheeler, and 39 four wheeler.

The highest numbers, 46, were caught by Miyapur and Shamshabad traffic police, followed by Rajendranagar 35, and Kukatpally and Alwal 31 each. The BAC level of 12 persons was recorded above 301 mg/100 ml. All those caught have to appear before the court. 303 offenders had BAC levels ranging from 35 mg/100 ml to 200 mg/100 ml and 25 offenders had BAC levels ranging from 201 mg/100 ml to 300 mg/100 ml, said police in a press release.
